Sam was born at the old St. Anthony’s Hospital that was on Colfax. He was raised on a dairy farm in Arvada near 52nd and Ward Road. He attended Fairmount Elementary, Drake Jr. High and Arvada West High School. Sam is a first cousin to the owner of Bandimere Speedway.
Senate District 19 includes both Arvada and Westminster.
Common Sense Issues
Fiscal Responsibility
- Ensure our government lives within its means, just like hardworking Colorado families do.
- Reduce taxes and regulations that are killing Colorado small businesses
- Fight for the Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR)

- Protecting your right to make your own choices, free from unnecessary government interference.
- Safeguarding your privacy and defending your constitutional rights is Sam’s top priority.
Net-Zero Energy Program
- Sam already has a net-zero home and has done so by implementing an energy program that can be applied to any home using ground source heat pumps.
- Encouraging entrepreneurship with GSHP drilling industry
Immigration Issues
- A strong and secure border is essential for national safety. Sam will fight to implement smart, effective measures to protect Colorado and our country.
- Support a fair and efficient immigration policy that upholds our laws
